Temple Square
So many fun and noteworthy things tooks place during the month of Decemeber it has been hard for me to keep up with recording them. One of the more noteworthy things was going to Temple Squre. It has been several years since we went to Temple Square so I decided to would be fun to take the kids to dinner, something we rarely do and then go visit the lights. We had a good time at dinner, no spilled milk, but by the time we left for Temple Square it was getting late. Well, we proceeded to drive around for about 45 minutes looking for a place to park, finally John dropped us off and went to look for a spot. It was one of the coldest nights of the year and the sidewalks were snowy and icy which made it hard to push a stroller. Temple Square was PACKED, and I think they must be going green because they don't have as many lights as I remember. So basically what happened is John dropped us off, we made our way inside one of the visitor centers stayed for about 10 minutes, met John, walked to the other side of the plaza trying to push the stroller through snow, came back, the visitor center was closing so we then walked 15 minutes back to our car amid freezing temperatures, crying kids, and snow covered side walks. We had a blast! Here is the only picture from the night documenting that we went. It will probably be awhile before we go back, or we will pick a warmer night and take TRAKS. Maybe next year we can go through a drive up, pick up dinner and then drive around Temple Square a couple of times to see the lights and head home. :)

I've heard from a few poeple that Temple Square cut back on lights this year. Maybe it's the economy...less tithing dollars! ;)
