Since Jon and his family were going to be away for Christmas we decided to meet early and let the kids exchange their gifts that they had picked out for each other. Since they are the only cousins on this side of the family we decided that money should not be an issue and they could purchase an expensive and valuable gift from the dollar store for each person. There were some real finds from a slinky that wasn't long enough to go down the stairs to clapper hands that were banded from the main room. We also had gum, coloring books, and books, however, my personal favorite was the silly string. Granted I gave permission before they bought it, but I guess I wasn't really thinking about the ramifications of that decision. However, it did force me to give the playroom a thorough cleaning before Christmas, which helped get rid of a lot of things that are no longer being used. Here are some pictures from the night.

The crew.

Lots of loves. Notice our Christmas decorations on the wall.

Nothing to focus kids attention like someone opening a present.
