Tennis

I hate dealing with pictures after I have taken them.  I don't really have a system or a time that I download them and then I get so many that I don't want to deal with it, so I just keep putting it off.  I should just do it once a week or even once a month would be an improvement.  So for that reason I didn't post about anything we did this summer, even though we had a lot of fun and kept very busy.  So in no particular order I am going to start documenting what we did, because if I don't I will have no idea what we did.

So the first event of the summer was tennis lessons.  Caroline and Hannah took lessons through the city league.  The both had fun, but I think next year I will find a private teacher for them.  There were so many kids in the class that they didn't really get very much instruction.  It was more of an introduction to tennis, but if they really want to learn anything we will have to have more one on one time.  The thing is you can find high school kids on the tennis team that will teach for about the same price as what it cost to do it with the city and 25 other kids.  Here are some pictures for one day when we are playing in the US Open.

Look at that concentration.

Look at the force of that swing.

This is what Joshua and Benjamin did while the girls were playing tennis.
Notice Benjamin in the background going through the garbage.  Not ours may I add. :)
They are generally good sports to be luged around since they don't do anything except support right now.  However, I am sure they will have their day.
