We had a great Thanksgiving in Arizona visiting friends and family. We drove down on Tuesday, beating the big storm that was heading into town and arrived Tuesday night. The entire time was spent hanging out with friends and family. We couldn't have asked for a better time. The weather was beautiful (it always is) and the company was great. Of course I only took pictures of a few of the things we did, and I always regret the pictures I didn't take, I have never regretted taking pictures. I just need to always remember that.
We did a house exchange with the Evans which worked out great. We missed hanging with them, but it was great to have an entire house to stay in at no charge.
The kids making a pyramid at Aunt Miriam's. This is a tradition.
Marshmallow roasting Thanksgiving night.
Ocean Blue with friends.
Grace and Ellie chilling like old times.
The group of girls.
Me and Charisse.
I had to include this picture. Charisse, I know your eyes are closed, but they were closed in every picture. Jana's daughter Evie took the picture. She warned me that Evie wasn't very good at pictures and would leave way too much space at the top. I am sorry that I didn't believe her. The Brown's hosted a neighborhood marshmallows roast. We had so much fun and love these neighbors so much.
Aside from the pictures we went to the drive-in with Martinsen's and Porter's. John and Joshua went to the ASU game. John and the boys watched the BYU - Utah game at the Browns. Hannah hung out non-stop with her friends. We went to Brooke's baptism and to lunch with the Cheney's. John also went to lunch with some guys. I went to the park with friends and hung out with Monica and the kids all day, only venturing out to get yogurt late in the day. I was also able to get some alone shopping time. And of course Thanksgiving at the Flowers, complete with eating outside and playing at the park afterwards. We loved every minute.
