Joshua had a birthday this month. Looking back to a year ago I can't believe how quickly the time has flown by nor how much he has grown. Last year at this time he wasn't even walking. Now I love his little run. Toddlers have the cutest little runs. He has gone from a baby to a little boy. And boy is he ever boy.
Here are some of the things Joshua loves at age 2.
The top and foremost are his Buzzlight Year pajamas. I don't think it has anything to do with Buzz, he has never seen the movie, I think he loves the one-piecer fleece wrapped around his body. He is always willing to get into p.j.'s but getting them off in the morning is another story. Also, if they are dirty watch out for a major temper tantrum. Many a night we have pulled them out of the dirty clothes basket and put the crusty smelly thing on.
Josh loves to be outside playing in the dirt.
He loves his sisters, especially Grace. Every morning he waves goodbye to Grace and yells 'bye gace'. We are still working on loving our brother. So far I have caught him sitting on Benjamin with a blanket over his face and covering Benjamin's mouth with his hand. Hmmmm. Is there a little jealousy there?
He loves to go places with his dad. He is my first that goes to John if he is hurt. He will bypass me for a hug from his dad. Very sweet.
He loves his cousin Ellie. She is his only friend that we really do playdates with. When we pull up to her house he gets so excited and starts yelling her name.
He loves animals. He is my first child that is not scared of animals at this age.
He is not a fan of nursery, although he is starting to do better. He is a bit of a shy little boy and doesn't like new situations.
He loves to suck his thumb.
Finally he loves to sing primary songs at night while I am rocking him. He will sing along with me. I can understand a few words. His favorite song is Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam.
We love you Joshua. You are great!

two?? really??
and I'm giggling at the things he's doing to little Benjamin. how do the babies survive with older siblings?? somehow they do and love each other bunches : )
the first time I looked at this post, all the pics weren't here. such an adorable little man. and what a darling quilt he sleeps with! (wink, wink) Collette and I took Vickie Palmer to the fabric store yesterday to pick out fabric for a quilt for Christy Peterson. We warmly remembered finding baby Josh's fabric. Sigh...happy memories!
What a cutie. Love the photo with him asleep with the football. Don't you need to retitle this blog??? :)
