We had so much fun the year before, we decided to go to AZ for Thanksgiving again this year. I only took two pictures the whole trip, which I always regret afterwards.
We spent the first couple of days with John's cousins the Flowers, then we spent a couple more days with my cousin and the Roskos house. It wasn't a long trip, but we had a lot of fun. The kids have so much fun playing with old friends and cousins that they don't get to see very often.
We also made a trip to Last Chance the day before Thanksgiving. John scored with a great suit. I have looked for a suit many times for him at Last Chance, but a suit is something you need to try-on before you purchase. This time he was with me a we found a suit that fit perfectly, except it was short in the legs. We figured there was enough fabric to let it down, so we bought it for $99. I like to look up on the Nordstrom website to see what it retails for, (it makes you feel good when you see how much you saved). The suit retailed for $1,500. Yes, we scored big time. It is a beautiful suit. So after a $20 alteration we were set. John also got a nice pair of shoes and Hannah came home with some Toms, Vans, and two cute shirts. I miss shopping in Arizona, it is not nearly as good or as convenient here. Ok, but the shopping is not what we went for, it was family, friends, and nice weather.
Hannah spent the entire trip, minus a few hours on Thanksgiving with her friends. John went to an ASU game with his cousin Joey. I had a shopping day with my cousins and a lunch date with friends so we all came away happy. We also scored by having John's parents there for Thanksgiving and Anne Marie came down as well and stayed with the favorite Auntie Heather.
The kiddos. One of the few pics I took.
Me and some of my favorite ladies.
