I am still trying to catch up on some of the fun things that we did this summer. I really don't post often enough and it is a good thing that I have pictures that remind what happened so that I can go back and put words to them. Unfortunately my lens on my camera broke a couple of months back. It took me awhile to order another one and now it is on back order so I have some time to catch up.
One of the highlights for the girls this summer was attending Stadium of Fire again. Anne Marie is kind enough to invite them with the tickets she gets from work. This year the performers were David Archuleta and Brad Paisley. They couldn't have been more thrilled!
Since I wasn't able to go with them this year she had a couple of extra tickets and one of our favorite cousins was up visiting from Arizona with her daughter so they got to go along too.
Anne Marie was also able to swing back stage passes. So they went early and had dinner. There was a lot of waiting and entertaining of each other until the show started.
Now Anne Marie figured that back stage passes included meeting David Archuleta. However, apparently there are back stage passes to the back stage. Luckily, Anne Marie is able to swing about anything. Just ask her about the time she was announced on national tv as one of the grandchildren of Ronald Reagan or the time she had about a dozen Secret Service Agents guns pointed at her as she road her car onto the tarmac next to Air Force One and the President. I could go on and on, but this is about the Stadium of Fire.... Anne Marie was able to spin her magic and they met David Archuleta.
Reports were that he was as cute as could be and even nicer.
Then it was time for the concert to begin.

How fun for them!!! And on a side note, does David look like he's 14 to anyone else? How old is he anyhow? I guess he's probably not too much older than that!
He is LDS and right now in 2011 he is 21. I know he looks young!
