Meeting Jimmer

So a few weeks ago I got a phone call from Anne Marie who was giddy because she had just met Jimmer Fredette.  Her work has a full size gym in it and she was walking across the court.  She noticed a couple of guys playing basket ball and didn't think much of it, assuming they were employees.  However, she did notice that one of them was really good and looked like Jimmer.  Although she still didn't realize it was Jimmer.  When she walked by she told him, you look like Jimmer.  Then as she looked at him more closely she said, "You are Jimmer."

He had been working out at their gym getting ready for the draft.  He was supper nice and she asked him if she could bring her neice to meet him.  He agreed, so we put a plan into place.

Easter was coming up, and the next day was the day they were going to go meet him.  So I gave each of the girls a Jimmer shirt in their Easter baskets.  Then the next day Anne Marie told them she was taking them to breakfast for their Easter present.  They had breakfast and then went over to the gym to 'hang out' while Anne Marie got ready for a meeting'.  John was there with with the video camera, so we got Hannah's reaction when Jimmer walked in.  It was priceless.  They got a picture with him and then watched him workout for an hour.  Hannah declared it her best present ever.

We are glad that Jimmer was so gracious to let them watch him workout.
