This year I want to try and record things that happen each month that I want to remember. Not the 'big' things, but the little things that don't seem noteworthy, but that will tell the story of our life in years to come.
Benjamin fell down the stairs twice. We now have a couple of gates fashioned. One is the Christmas tree box blocking the downstairs entry and the other is the gymnatics mat tied to the banister. So far so good.
Whenever I do P90X (which isn't every day) Joshua comes to join in. It works out fine unless it is a push-up day then he and Benjamin just climb all over me.
Our Tuesday's are really busy right now. They start at 8:15 with Caroline's harp lesson, then Grace has swimming at 9:30, the middle of the day is filled with the usual cleaning, dinner making, lunch, baths, etc. then I pick up the girls from school and drop them off at my mom's school and she watches the kids while I take Hannah to her piano lesson (she is doing very well). Then we leave piano go pick up the kids and take Hannah to play practice. She gets home around 6:45 and then it is homework. Tuesday is our busiest day, Wednesday's and Thursdays also have so activities, but Tuesday is the one that keeps us running.
Josh likes TV way too much. We have to hide the remote, but like Hannah when she was younger, once it is off it is not a problem.
The other day we asked Joshua what he wanted to be when he got bigger. He said, "Mickey Mouse".
Benjamin is walking 80% of the time. He only crawls when he want to get someplace quickly. I missed out on a great picture of Benjamin crawling with a rope attached to his stomach and Joshua walking him around like a puppy. It was the cutest thing because Benjamin was having as much fun as Josh was.
Hannah went to Grandma G. school last week for half a day. We met her beforehand for lunch.
Hannah made a goal to read 1000 pages during the month of January. After a lot of encouragement she made her goal.
Grace loves to play school and when the kids are at school I am her student. She 'whistles' for me to come when school is starting. Her whistle is more of a loud 'wooting' sound.
Grace is trying not to yell as much. Hannah made her a chart and when she got five smiley faces (for not yelling) she got to pick-up a treat. She earned it last week. (We were pretty lenient and forgiving on her 'not yelling days'.)
Caroline had a slightly infected ear from her earrings. She took them out and couldn't get one of them back in, it has been over a week now. I am afraid it may have grown back in and we will have to get her ears pierced again in the future. She isn't as nearly tough as she used to be. I mean really when she split her chin open and had to get stitches she didn't cry once. I really don't want to do the ear thing with her again for quite awhile.

what a great recap. loved the boys playing puppy and them crawling all over you when you do your push ups. if your sister lived here i'd take harp lessons! lucky Caroline :)
Hey you! Love the photos of the boys and you. Very fun and cute. Sorry about Caroline and the ear piercing. urrr. On the other hand I have 4 holes, yes I said 4 from when I was a rebellious teenager that haven't had earings in them for almost two decades and still I can get an earing through them...go figure! Hope to see you this summer. Doesn't look like we'll make it out in April as we had hoped but for sure in July/Aug!
