I took Caroline to a Sing-in of the Messiah and Hannah to Christmas Around the World at BYU. I didn't get pictures of either of those events, but we had a good time. Caroline was a good sport to sit through the sing-in. I think she was bored before it even started, but at the end she thanked me for taking her. She was sweet. John took Josh and Grace out to dinner and to see Santa at the mall.
We were also fortunate to score the hottest tickets in town. And I am not kidding when I say it was the hottest ticket. David Archelleta sang with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert. The concert is free but you must win the lottery to get tickets. People were selling their free tickets on craiglist and such places. And I must say that it was an amazing concert. David Archelleta's voice is one of the most beautiful I have EVER heard! And he is the most sweet and humble guy up on stage. It was seriously fantastic! We all loved it.
The Brinton Family Christmas party is always a lot of fun as well as very predictable. We always have ham, cheesy potatoes, 'set salads', green salads, and brownies with pepermint ice cream for dessert. Santa always comes to bring gifts to the kids and everyone calls out the name after Santa calls for the child. We sing a few Christmas carols and when my Grandfather Brinton was alive he would always repeat the Poem Father Calls Me William.
Grace taking her vistit with Santa seriously.
Hannah enjoying her visit with Santa.
Benjamin not so sure about his first Santa encounter.
Joshua being brave with Santa. I missed the funniest picture of Josh he was smiling just like he was in this picture his head straight ahead, but his eyes were looking out sideways at Santa. It was so funny. Sorry I missed it, I had just put my camera away.
I missed Caroline with Santa. Not sure how that happened, actually I do it had to do with a dirty diaper. Sorry Caroline.

I am so sad Christmas is over--but it's nice not to have 20 things hanging over my head!
So glad you got to go to the concert. Heard it was seriously so amazing! Lucky indeed!!
