Look at her anxious expression. I still think 12 is a better age. However, once you change it for one it is held over your head. We seriously almost left with only one ear pierced. They pierced one side and then it took almost 10 minutes before she agreed to go ahead with the other side. In fact I told her if we left that was fine but we wouldn't come back to get her ears pierced until she was 12. She agreed to that and I was fine with that except I knew I would have to pay the rip-off $50 bucks for the earrings, you know the earrings cost a small fortune but the piercing is "free". So although I told her that was fine, I really wanted her to go through with it so I wouldn't be out $50.
Here she is squeezing the guts out of the little bear after she agreed to pierce the second side. Although, 12 would involve less drama, it is fun to see their excitement.
Finally the triumphant smile after we got through with it.

They didn't do them both at the same time? That is how I use to do it when we pierced at the salon. Crazy!!! If I had more than one girl I would have bought the gun and a few sets of earings. Much cheaper!!! :) I'm still working on talking Jack into letting me do Sage. He says NO WAY! :(
