Caroline turned 8. It is hard to believe since it seems like just yesterday that Hannah turned 8. It will be really sad when I am writing about graduating and saying it seems like just yesterday that Hannah graduated and left for college. Time just flies by so quickly.
Hannah stayed up late making signs for Caroline. Love when we get the sisterly love.
We celebrated with Caroline's breakfast of choice: pancakes (not wheat) with strawberries and whip cream (the kind in the can that sprays out).
I brought her lunch at school for her and a friend and then she had her favorite meal, broccoli casserole for dinner.
Since this is an 'off' birthday year we are going roller skating for her 'family' party on Saturday. Classic Skate and place that hasn't been updated since it was built back in the 70's. It is a little scary, but the kids love it.

Best buddies. The other day Lisa asked Ellie if Joshua was her good friend. She said, "No he is my best friend."
Caroline is such a joy. Here is a 'written' picture of Caroline at age 8.
1. Caroline loves burnt toast, and when I say burnt I really mean burnt. She also likes her cookies cooked well so they are crunchy.
2. She is an aggressive soccer player.
3. She is good at math. She gets it.
4. She likes to fold laundry. Love that.
5. She is great with Joshua and Benjamin.
6. She is not afraid to be herself. She has a distinct style and expresses it well.
7. She doesn't like to say 'love you' in front of her friends. We will work on that. :)
8. She gets her work done. I love a hard worker.
Caroline we love you so much. Thanks for being such a great part of our family.

if you are here over thanksgiving and need a place to stay, our arms and door is open. our floors are clean and quite comfy!!
