First Day of School

Oops, uploaded the wrong picture. Oh well, I am not going to bother changing it.

We are off to another year of school. Hannah is in fourth grade, Caroline is in first grade, and Grace is going to a darling preschool three days a week. Everyone is happy, especially mom. However, here they do extended day, which means half of the class goes from 8-2:15 and the other half of the class goes from 9:15- 3:30. We are only the early track which I like getting them going, I am afraid we would waste time in the morning, but 2:15 is too early! It is 30 minutes less than our last school but it seems like half a day to me. I am wondering how I can get the school to let them do both tracks.

Hannah has a male teacher this year. After much trepidation, she now loves him. Funny how that goes. Good thing I didn't switch her like she was DEMANDING I do.

Caroline has a very sweet teacher, no drama there. Grace goes to preschool Mon, Tues, Weds. and also has a very sweet teacher. They do all sorts of activities including cooking, mom and me days, and field trips. Thank goodness for good teachers. I am happy that all of my kids are enjoying their respective teachers. Everything is good, however; I do miss Mrs. King, the cross walk lady. She always waited for my kids to cross, even when we were running late. Someone tell her I miss her. I now have to actually get dressed and either ride bikes with the kids or drop them off. It really stinks. It will really stink when it is dark and 10 degrees outside! Then I will be missing my AZ weather!

What cute girls! I remember having my first male teacher. It was horrible but I am over it now! I like how at least your girls put helments on going down the stairs! Hope you guys are doing good. You need some more pics of Josh, I am sure he has grown a lot.

Cute pictures--rather cute kids! I don't know what I would do if I had to get completely dressed to take my kids to school!

This is really hard to read. I'm glad you like your teachers - and jealous that you're not sweating to death during the first few weeks of school!

WOW! Look how beautiful Hannah looks. Has she grown up since we saw you in July??? I'll pass the message on to Joan King. She'll love it. But that is no longer her morning post. :(
