Christmas traditions at our home include:
Brinton Family Christmas Party- Santa comes, we sing Christmas Carols, we eat, ham, cheesy potatoes, jello, green salads and have brownies and peppermint ice cream for dessert, we have an impromptu sing along and piano concert - always.
Decorating Gingerbread Houses- We started this tradition in Arizona with the Thomas' and it has stuck.
Christmas Cards- Love getting them, love sending them.
Christmas Stories- We try and and read a Christmas story under the Christmas tree every night. It only ends up being a couple of nights during the week, but we love it.
Christmas Culture- We started this after moving to Utah. We highlight a different country and their traditions at Christmastime.
Christmas Eve- We spend with the Gunther's. We have a nice dinner and read some Christmas stories including the birth of Jesus Christ. This year we added a talent show.
Christmas Night- Since moving to Utah Anne Marie comes and spends the night and watches Elf with the kids.
Christmas Morning- We have a nice breakfast. Last year when Christmas was on Sunday we started the tradition of reading from Luke 2 and from the Book of Mormon before opening presents.
Christmas Day- After opening presents we head to the Howards to spend the rest of Christmas with them. We have a nice Christmas Day dinner and open presents with them.
I love Grace's expression in this one.
Hannah received tickets to the Taylor Swift concert from Grandma H. Can you tell she was pleased?
