Johua's Birthday

This is loooong overdue, and since we have another birthday in our family next week I decided I better sit down and write about how great Josh is and how much we love him and all the funny things he does.  Josh turned 3 and he is pretty much a joy to have around.  He climbs on the counter tops which drives me crazy, but besides that he is a great kid.

For his birthday we celebrated with cousins and grandparents.  We had a fun party that included playing games in the basement with the new double hoop basketball thingy,  don't know what it is really called and a Mickey Mouse cake.  His favorite character at age 3.

Some things about Joshua.  If you ask him who his best friend is he says Grandma and Ellie.  When you ask him how old he is he says 5.  Grace told him the other day that she is 6 now, so he said I want to be six too.  He is in the 40th percentile for his height, that means he should turn out to be 5'10".  We will see if that turns out to be true.  He calls Benjamin 'Baby' most of the time but will occasionally
call him Benjamin.  He likes to work in the yard with us and he just learned how to ride a bike with training wheels.
He got a rocking chair from Grandma H. for his birthday.

And a head flashlight from Anne Marie.  He had been asking for one for a long time.  He sees John use his and wanted one for himself.
Here are the pics of the basketball tournament going on in the basement.

Everyone got into it including Grandma and Grandpa.

Here is the Mickey Mouse cake.  Not bad, but don't look too close.
One happy 3 year old boy.  We love you Joshua.
